Russell’s Trailer Service has been serving Indianapolis and central Indiana for more than 40 years.
Our story began when Russell’s Trailer Service founder John Russell first heeded the call to serve the semi-trailer industry in 1968. That’s when he became Service Manager for Monon Trailers in Indianapolis. Two short years later John took a big step forward in his commitment to the industry by opening Russell’s Trailer Repair. That facility, located at 3200 Bluff Road in Indianapolis, housed his original 1970 staff of 10 employees.
As Russell’s Trailer Service continued to prosper and grow, John and the RTS team knew they needed to expand in order to serve their customers even better. In 1984, with the staff numbering 25 employees, RTS built the current Indianapolis location at 2341 South West Street, just minutes from I-70 and downtown off Exit 79.
We’ve seen a lot of changes over the years, but we’ve kept pace with the times in order to always offer superior attention to your semi trailer inspection, maintenance, service or repair needs. We partner with a wide range of manufacturers and suppliers, and do our best to stay “in the know” on the latest semi trailer technologies.
Today, John Russell and the entire RTS team are widely respected for their knowledge and skill in semi-trailer maintenance, service, repair and reconstruction. Russell’s Trailer Service has also expanded into trailer and accessory sales. We’re now the area’s only authorized area sales center for Stoughton trailers and DirecTrailers. It’s just further proof of our longstanding commitment to serving you and your trailer service, repair and maintenance needs.
